Modern Coastal, Manhattan Beach
New construction of a 3-level modern home designed by Fogel Interiors with a subterranean recreation space, spectacular pool and outdoor space and floating stairs.

Mid Century Modern, Beverly Hills
This 10,000 SF home was one of the last in Trousdale permitted to have a full basement with open exterior atriums to allow full daylight and exterior space at the lower level. While architecturally unique, this created a complicated waterproofing puzzle of glass envelope, waterproofing and below grade outdoor spaces that needed to drain.

Trousdale Modern, Beverly Hills
This 7,000 SF home extended to the property line in every direction, leaving virtually no space for staging materials or equipment for the entire duration of the project. Design features included massive board formed concrete walls and a cantilevered curved stair.

Chalette Drive, Beverly Hills
This 10,000 SF hillside home included design elements that required close collaboration. Curved lacquer panel walls with integrated doors, curved exterior sliding glass doors and a recessed car lift that was added after construction had started which required us to resequence the foundation sequence of the main house, garage and pool.

Abbott Kinney, Venice Beach
This 5,000 SF home in Abbott Kinney went through an extremely fast paced renovation where nearly every surface was touched. This Midwest based client brought their design team with them – Tom Stringer Design Partners and Hoerr Schaudt Landscape Architects reimagined the home’s interior and exterior.

Acacia Farm, Rancho Santa Fe
This 6-acre equestrian estate started as a speculative design-build project. When the client decided she wanted to transition to a custom program, a new team was assembled to include Appleton Partners who reimagined the entire estate including the Main House, Guest House, Barn and landscape, and we were “off to the races” to steal an equestrian phrase.
